What Would You Be Remembered For?

It was a rainy day and i was travelling, the dress i had on was wet and my box was very heavy. It wasn't funny, if you've ever travelled when its raining, you know what am talking about. Then all of a sudden, a kind stranger offered to help me, oh what a relief. He didn't ask for my name or number, which was new to me?cos most people who offered to help me always wanted something. I never saw him after that day and might not recognize him if i see him, but truth is that kind gesture remains evergreen.
My question is, what would you be remembered for? Are you living life for yourself alone? Are you here to serve or to be served. Jesus said to love God and to love others and if you aren't doing that, then you need to start. Even Jesus didn't come to be served but to serve others and if you have not received as this lord saviour please pray the prayers below:

Crazy In Love. Good or Bad?

To what extent can you go just to please someone you love? For some, they won't do anything crazy for their loved ones while for others like Micheal (name changed) in the story below, the reverse is the case. There are two types of crazy i think, one is good and the other is bad. I was crazily in love with this girl that i lied, cheated and stole, just to please her. She was a very beautiful lady, today she would be referred to as a slay queen while me on the other hand wasn't that attractive so i always felt it was a priviledge that she even agreed to date me . I promised her that i'd be the best boyfriend she ever had, i browsed the internet on how to fulfill promise by the way.
Birthdays are times to prove yourself , (that's an unwritten code) and i decided that i'd make her happy by giving her money that i didn't have. A simple call, text message, shoutout on social media and dinner would have done the trick but i wanted to prove to her and her friends that thought i was broke and unattractive to date their friend, that they were wrong.
I lied, cheated and stole to get the money which i finally got and sent everything to her. But suprisingly, the hugs and gushing over me i expected wasn't what i got rather, she simply said thank you. She didn't even tell her friends and after that day, i decided that i'll never be a fool for love. You can imagine that she didn't even tell me that she got the alert, it was when i asked her that she told me, she even deleted the alert from her phone. Before i leave, just want to add this, am fresher now, richer and of course attractive and that same girl is coming back for me. I always win.

Oga, it haff do joor. Lol but truth is that many people have been in such situations but what i can say is this, no matter how much you u love a person, think twice before you do anything stupid cos you will end up regretting it.... It's really not worth all the stress

Motivational Monday

Why do you think some ladies go after rich guys while some guys go after rich ladies? The answer is simply 'cos we all love already made things or people. If i was to give you an apple seed and an apple, am sure 99.9% of us would take the apple 'cos you can't even imagine yourself suffering to grow that seed when there's already an apple that you can eat without stress . But we forget that if that seed is planted and nutured properly, it would give us more than 1apple.
Listen, don't let the fact that people don't believe in you stop you from believing in yourself. Nuture your dreams so that when it becomes a success, no man will say they did it for you. Don't wait for things to be handed to you, go out and get them. Remember to believe in God and believe in yourself and i pray that as you go after that good dream of yours , God will bless the works of your hands In Jesus Name Amen. Hiding From God?

When you catch a child trying to take stuff that doesn't belong to them, what does the child do? They simply hide it behind them or they drop it immediately and try to cover up by lying. Lol, no right thinking adult will fall for that. Been there, done that, i know that you're lying, oya hand it over, would be my response to that child.
And just like the illustration below, its foolish to think that you can hide anything from God. He's Omnipresent meaning that He 's watching you even when nobody is. He actually knows what you'll do before you do it, so why do you think you can hide anything from Him. No need to play that game 'cos you'd be at the losing end so why don't you open up to Jesus, the only one that truly knows how you feel and can help you. Jesus loves you and He cares so much.

Guess what, today i'll be talking about my own personal experience, lol here we go.
** On that very day, i was in my room with my friends when we started to hear shout 'GUY, GO UPSTAIRS, MAKE SURE YOU BREAK THAT DOOR' 'if you know say you no dey fear death, just bring your head out and you go see if i no go burst your head' another guy holding a locally made pistol said looking up waiting for his target to dare him.
Eh! Fear gripped me, wait oo, was I seeing a cult clash? I read about such, saw it in movies and even heard gists about them but never did i ever imagine that i'd see one happen infront of me. My school is very peaceful so it was clearly unexpected.
Wait! My door wasn't even locked, it was just closed, i was beginning to sweat profusely, what if they try to rob and find us inside there. Nooo, God pls biko mbok don't let it happen. I never knew my friends could be that quiet until that day, we laid down flat and from the tiny opening under my door, i could see the leg of one them, he was obviously sitting on the on the block near my door, i quietly stood up and locked the door ninja style. God pls let this be over, i prayed in my heart. All of a sudden, i heard people jumping from from upstairs, serious something oo, then came the long awaited peace and tranquility. Phew! We didn't come out till the security guys that came there, left. Don't worry, nobody died.
Cultism sha is a very bad something, say NO TO IT. So there you have it, my own personal experience while in the University

Empty

Have you ever tried to make an empty container stand? Lol mission impossible 'cos any small breeze that blows, it will just fall, any small push, it will fall. Sometimes it even falls on its own without any thing pushing it. But just drop a container filled with water' the reverse is the case.
In life, when you don't have enough of God in you, am sorry but you're spiritually empty. Any little thing makes you fall, that's the truth. How can i have enough of God in me you may ask. Well, first give your life to Jesus Christ then daily read the Word of God and spend time in His presence, these are the basics, start doing that and God will show you what next. God bless you.

How Angry Can You Get?

What you are about to read a true life story, like it happened before my very own eyes and it just goes to show you how dangerous uncontrolled anger can be . But before you continue I just want to ask you this, to what extent can you go to show how angry you are? ***So i was trekking down to a bus stop when all of a sudden, the passenger side of the car close to me was opened. Like i mean, the road is a very busy one and here a human being was, opening the door of the car and the worst part was that the person flung open the door and left it open but didn't make any attempt to come down. Trust my city people to be nosey, well, people closed the door thinking it was a problem with the door we knew the woman oops? I just said it, the person doing this was a woman. We knew she was serious when she opened the door a second time and then people started raining abuses on her. The guy who was the one driving was begging her while she sat with her arms crossed and a serious frown on her face.
For me, that's not anger, that the highest form of stupidity. Like what stopped her from getting down from seeing that the car was crawling. What if that stupid act caused a ghastly accident thereby leading to loss of her life or permanent damages. What if she fell out of the car seeing that she didn't have her seat belt on . Aunty, if you die, he'll come for your burial with another lady, that's if he'll come. Don't hurt yourself trying to show how angry you are, the person might not even care.
Lol, i was annoyed with someone and went on hunger strike, 2days into it and i almost fainted, its not someone that told me to go and eat. I can't even try that nonsense again. Learn to express your grievances in the most civil, reasonable and mature way and as the Bible always advises us, be angry and sin not, don't let the sun go down on your anger.
Remember anger is a small madness so do nothing when your angry cos what you will damage will be greater than what caused your anger

Human Nature

Sometimes we tend to want those who don't care about us but care less for those who love us. Don't lie, you've done this before but sadly, we apply this principle when it comes to Jesus. In simple terms, a person who loves Jesus is someone who obeys Him. Now am not saying that you can't make mistakes but the thing is, after the mistakes, what happens? Do you ask for forgiveness sincerely or do you continue. Jesus suffered and died so that you may have eternal life. When Your Love Interest Becomes Your Downfall

Stories like the one below just make me shudder and wonder if people still have human hearts or if their hearts are so cold that nothing moves them . This story is from avery reliable source.
*Miss Z (not real name) was dating this very rich young guy and was obviously the envy of her friends 'cos he got her the latest things and she lacked nothing, little did they know that her life was at stake. So it happened that on that very unfortunate night, she and her boyfriend came out of the club and about to go back home when the guy asked her to escort him to go ease himself inside the bush. After failing to convince her to follow him, he went into the bush while she waited at the entrance. All of a sudden, she felt someone rushing at her from behind and before she knew what was happening, her boyfriend was stabbing her from behind, she managed to escape but the guy was nowhere to be found as he packed his stuff that night and ran away. This sad incident left the lady paralysed and mentally disturbed, unfortunately, she died and the guy is still at large even till today.

Before i continue, i pray that the person you love doesn't become the cause of your downfall or even worse, death. . Before you get very comfortable with someone, it would be wise to at least know the basic things about them, like their full name, family, friends, where they live and work etc go online and do some investigations and please be prayerful. There are infact so many lessons to be learnt from this very sad yet true life story.

Opposition After Change

Have you tried to stand for what's right and gotten so much opposition from close friends and sometimes family? 'you're now too churchy' i got that comment from a very close friend, and i wondered where that was coming from, like puhlease 'cos i refuse to do what's wrong now means am too churchy, well thank you. Funny thing was that within that week too, the same person asked me to pray for them.
Now don't get me wrong, am not claiming to be perfect, i still got flaws and at first those kinda coments got to me but i always reminded myself of the comment that ends this post.
Be ready to lose friends when you wanna change people generally resent change especially when you no longer please them. Remember, if you don't stand for something, you'll fall for everything. Are you doing things to please God or man? Remember you'll finally answer to 1 person, God not man. So choose wisely whose side you're on. Nothing and nobody is worth going to hell for. Four Abortions + STDs =A Life Full Of Regrets

They say 'if you live long enough, you'll make mistakes' well, am just a teenager but I've made mistakes that are...infact there are no words explain the gravity of my mistakes. That statement explains the way of getting rid of careless acts Martha (name changed) got into. Share her story below
Four abortions and a never ending stream of sexually transmitted diseases, that was the mess i got myself into. Just so that you understand, am not a prostitute although i have multiple sex partners, sounds stupid right? Ok, let me rephrase, i don't see myself as one. I wasn't broke, infact my parents provided everything i needed, so what went wrong you might ask? Well, i can only put it this way, i tried it once, nothing horrible to the best of my knowledge happened, my conscience died and that was it. When i found out that i was pregnant for the first time, i was scared but abortion was the only way out cos I didn't want to soil the name of my family. The abortion process was very excruciatingly painful and after that I vowed never to indulge in any form of sexual immorality but a month later after the pains were gone, i was in the beds of men and then i got pregnant but this time around, the abortion wasn't as painful as the first and then came the 3rd and 4th pregnancies and i aborted them.
Today, i live in fear'cos am gonna get married, what if i've damaged my womb, will the babies i killed ever forgive me? Will God forgive me? I live in regrets and i wish i never had that first sex that ended up being the starting point of my journey to destruction.
***Sad story indeed with many lessons attached to it, one thing i gained was that after the 1st one, it becomes easy to do the others so its better to say NO AT THE BEGINNING THAN AT THE MIDDLE when You're already in too deep but that is not to say that you can't stop now even if you're in. With a strong will and Jesus, it's possible and pls don't listen to the lies of the devil, God can and will forgive you, if you ask in prayers.

What's Important?

Medical experts will always tell you to eat food before you take drugs so that the drugs can have somethhing to work with. I now went to do macho and i took drugs without eating, hei, it was the pain in my inside that woke me up, i was shaking like badly. Lol, i haff learnt my lesson sha.
In life, you're likely to shake, fall and feel weak when you're faced with problems of life(drugs) if you don't have enough of Jesus and His Word in you(food) . Spend more time studying Gods Word, its for your own good. And please if not yet given your life to Christ please pray the prayer below..........

How I Nearly Let Porn Destroy Me - Steve

Its all fun until its time to stop but you find out that you're in too deep and stuck. This was the situation that Steve (name changed), found himself.

I almost let pornography ruin my life. As a very young guy still in his teens, i got hooked to that destiny destroyer.
It was a friend that introduced me to a porn magazine at the time, there weren't phones yet, i was fascinated and my friends and i made fun of the pictures but when i went to bed that night, the images kept replaying in my head and then i shook the idea of such out of my mind and i never remembered it again till i got into the university. My parents already gave me strict warnings to never impregnate any lady, so i had to be careful, worse part was i was a very shy guy, so i decided to help myself by finding solace in porn and that, i think was the worst decision i ever made.
To cut the long story short, i was addicted to the point that i started to think that i was demon possessed , of course i was and boy, was it hard to be free from that addiction. With a very strong will and God's help, i was able to break free from that addiction.

So many lessons to be drawn from this story but the one that stands out for me is, addictions are accumulated practices in the particular thing it starts out as fun and ends up being a nightmare. Getting addicted to anything is bad and destructive and the earlier you stop the better. Porn can never help and will only leave you in pain and regret just like the guy in the story narrated "Pornography is destructive"

Do you see a tree in your seed? Every single thing ever accomplished started as a seed that was planted in the soil of faith, hardwork and patience but sadly, most people have either of these or neither of them.
You can't say you have faith that your dream will come to pass when you don't work, even the Bible tells us that faith without works is dead. Another virtue people lack is patience, we live in a time where we have machines that make things quicker and gets things done faster that we get annoyed if the line isn't moving fast. Big things don't just happen, wait.The Bible says there would be seed time and harvest.
Hardwork is becoming extinct, as people just want to eat without working. Sorry, it doesn't work that way, you have to work , not only hard but also smart. And while you work towards achieving your dream, don't forget to move with a right attitude. God bless you and make this week a prosperous one as you do the right thing.

yipee! I was very glad that i was now in the university, finally a fresh start and a fresh air from the normal home air i was so used to and obviously becoming tired of. Was i going to miss home, not to sound heartless or anything, but No, i wasn't gonna miss home. My first week was not anything like I expected . Hmm, i was so used to feeling comfortable while learning in seconday school that i found it hard to understand why we were over 800 in a hall that wasn't meant for half that number. The first day i went for lectures, i nearly fainted and from that day, i made up my mind to either come early or borrow notes. Don't even get me started on attendance lists that always got torn at the end because people started fighting . Ever seen 3 people trying to sign on a paper at the same time? Well' i saw that happen, and to the person who decided to release gas in that very over crowded hall, you have really tried, clap for yourself. To my lecturers who refused to use the megaphone during lectures, what your plan was, i don't know and to all Nigerian students, you guys are the best.

Morning Vibes

A man had a wife who always feared the worst might happen. Every night, she told her husband to go check the doors 'cos she always felt there was a buglar, and for 30yrs,she made him go down and check the doors in the middle of the night.
One day, her went to check and there stood a burglar with a gun to his head, as he was about to leave after robbing them,the man asked him to come and see his wife that she had been waiting for him for 30yrs.
Now, we are all afraid of something, could be fear of failure, not being enough, rejection, losing someone, something, being cheated on etc fear makes a small problem seem huge, the more you're afraid of something, the most likely it is to happen .
Fear is 1 tool that the devil uses to suppress and oppress us, remember the Bible says that God hasn't given us a spirit of fear but of love , power and of a sound mind. So my dear, when next fear comes knocking, answer with Faith. Trust in God and He'll always deliver you.

While Men Slept

While people slept, and i was actually supposed to be doing the same thing, i was spying on my boyfriend she said. Below is the true life of steph(name changed) . You know this thing about when you're in love and all of a sudden, you turn into a monitoring spirit... That's exactly what happened to me. I was dating this guy fsome months before i started to have this feeling that he was cheating on me. Ofcourse i asked him 'cos i was really troubled and he told me no, that he wasn't cheating on me but once you start getting suspicious, you hardly stop till you get to the bottom.
That cold night, i went to his house because the monitoring part of me asked me to take him unawares by visiting at that odd hour smh!! . And when i got there, i got the shocker of my life. What were you expecting, you might ask... Well, i wasn't expecting to meet a lady in his room but in fact that was what i saw. I won't go into the details but it was a heart breaking experience, which am over tho.
There are lessons to be drawn from this story, one being that if you have to monitor them, then you don't trust them and if you don't trust them, then there is no need being with them.

The toothbrush as we know it today was not invented until 1938. However, early forms of the toothbrush have been in existence since 3000 BC. Ancient civilizations used a "chew stick," which was a thin twig with a frayed end. These 'chew sticks' were rubbed against the teeth.
The bristle toothbrush, similar to the type used today, was not invented until 1498 in China. The bristles were actually the stiff, coarse hairs taken from the back of a hog's neck and attached to handles made of bone or bamboo.

God loves you unconditionally. Ever heard dis statement and wondered in your heart that it is impossible for God to love u so much inspite of ur sins and mistakes. Well,if u've eva had dis thought before, just know that u re not alone bcos lots of people have had similar thoughts and guess who brings such thoughts, u know d answer.
NEVA allow the devil to lay hold on ur heart and make u think that God does not love u becos the Bible clearly states that Christ came for d sinners.BUT note that although God loves d sinner ,He will not tolerate d sin.
PLEASE dont allow your self to be in a terrible situation before u learn to appreciate God's unconditional love towards you. There is no man God cant love so please do well to accept Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour. Please pray the prayer below
Lord Jesus, i confess my sins and i ask that you please forgive me , please come into my life and be my Lord and My personal Saviour Amen.

Motivational Monday

Be excited about how far you've come and not discouraged about how far you have to go-Joyce Meyer. Whenever am filling a very important report or writing i don't look at the blank pages ahead rather, go back and i check how far i've gone. If you had to submit a report or note tomorrow and you had to start writing today, i bet you that if you looked at he blank pages ahead, you'd be unnerved 'cos in your mind, you're like, i still have a long way to go.
That same principle works in life, the more you you keep looking at how far you have to go, the more you'd get scared and discouraged, Could be in your academics, business or career, working out etc. You know why some people start going to the gym and all of a sudden stop? Its 'cos they keep looking at how far they have to go rather than how far they've come. As you go out this week make sure you have this in mind. Happy New Week.

I know that it hurts to be beaten up by your partner but i don't know what it feels like 'cos i've not experienced it, but i know what it feels like to be robbed 'cos i've been robbed before.
Most people know that God loves them but dunno what it feels like. Just imagine a random person telling you that they love you, hahaha exactly you'll definitely lol and roll your eyes, reason being that your heart isn't open to them.
We can't feel God's love for us if we don't open our hearts to Him. Its a wonderful feeling when you know and feel God's love. How can i feel God's love you might ask, well, first accept Christ as your Lord and personal Saviour, pray this simple prayer, Dear God, i confess my sins, please forgive me and wash me with your blood as i confess you this day as my Lord and Personal Saviour, please come into my heart.
Make God your priority by spending time in His presence, read your Bible, pray everyday . God loves you hun and He wants to have a wonderful relationship with you. God bless you

Let It Go

Let it go, 3 simple words yet so difficult to do. In life, we all obey the law of taking in and giving out. For example, when you breathe in, you must breathe out, when you eat, you must excreate, ever thought about why a car has an exhaust? Because the car has to release unwanted substances.
We all obey this law in most if not all aspects of our lives expect one place and thats in our heart. WHEN SOMEONE OFFENDS US, WE KINDA FIND IT HARD TO LET IT GO AND FORGIVE Instantly.
Imagine what would happen if you couldnt excreate after eating or if you couldnt breathe out after breathing in, terrible situation right? Well, thats what happens to us when we dont forgive and let it go.
When you keep piling offenses in your heart, you will end up being miserable. Unforgiveness is just like taking poison and expecting someone else to be hurt, hate is toxic.
Most times, the people who offend us dont even care and sometimes, they dont even know that they offended us, just imagine being unhappy with a person who doesnt care.
Please dont put your happiness and peace of mind in the hands of somebody else.
Forgive before you even recieve an apology,. Remember, only big minded strong people can actually forgive and let it go.
Forgive as God has forgiven you and learn to let it go and if you still have a hard time doing that, pray to God and he will help you out.
