Healing Not Dating


Jane, am just very unhappy" a friend said to me after a very horrible breakup, I told her sorry ofcourse and tried all I could to help but in my head am like "you should be healing not dating". Most times, we tend to jump into a relationship whenever we get hurt so that we don't feel the pains of the last breakup and that infact is the reason why there have many failed relationships. If you really loved someone, 1week isn't enough to get over them, unless you guys fell out of love.
Don't put sand into someone's food simply 'cos you don't know a place to pour the sand out, don't bring all the baggages eg lack of trust, confusion, betrayal etc into your present relationship, pls don't turn a very sweet person into a bitter person.
You can't cover pain forever, if you use another human being to cover pain, one day, it would escalate and leave one or the both of you terribly hurt. Relationship is not a do or die affair, it's better to heal properly before you get into another relationship. So in what ways can you heal? I'll talk about that next week.
