There is life outside of social media. I thought i should start with this and although am glad you're reading this writeup, there's more to life than what you see on social media. Am not an extreme introvert but people thought I was 'cos i was always on my phone and . A time came when i had to go off the internet for months and in that time, i had to opportunity to see the world clearer.
My grandmother that i always thought was very annoying turned out to be the funniest , kindest and bestest ( yeah i know, there is nothing like bestest , just had to make sure it rhymed) elderly person i've ever met. I found out these amazing things about her 'cos i spent more time with her. This is one of the many examples of the beautiful things i found out simply 'cos i paid more attention to life. Stop complaining about people around you when you're always on your phone and don't take time to know them more
Now, don't get me wrong, there are also many amazing things online, like what you're reading right now but what am saying is, take some time off the internet and do real life stuff, I bet you'd be amazed the difference it would make . Let's not fool ourselves , it won't be that easy at first but if you're determined to, you know the saying, where there is a will, there is a way. Just to let you know, God also wants to have a personal relationship with you and that cannot be achieved if you don't put down your device and spend time in His Presence .
